Rural Health Continuing Education

Funded by the Australian Government through the Department of Health and Ageing, the Rural Health Continuing Education (RHCE) program aims to assist rural and remote health professionals in the completion of continuing professional development activities.

RHCE Steam Two provides grants for continuing professional development (CPD), multi-disciplinary training or Inter-Professional Learning (IPL) and orientation activities. Applications close on 20 August 2010, with approximately $2.5 million available in grants until 30 June 2013.

The grants will allow eligible health professionals to undertake CPD, IPL and orientation programs, especially in their usual working environments. Application guidelines and forms are available at http://rhce.ruralhealth.org.au/
