Meet the Team
Sacha Etherington
Sacha established Health 24-7 in 2003. Sacha felt that assisting with maintaining the service of health care facilities was essential, particularly in rural areas, and wanted to encourage medical practitioners to explore work opportunities Australia wide. Sacha oversees the day to day business of Health 24-7. She provides the guidance as to where the business is going and strives to maintain quality service in providing appropriate training and a feeling of value and respect among team members.
Sacha has over 10 years experience in medical recruitment and holds a Bachelor of Health Science Honours. After university studies and prior to establishing Health 24-7 Sacha did extensive travel across Europe and the Middle East. She spent time working in London in such companies as Pricewaterhouse Coopers and Bureau Veritas Quality International, a world leader in the setting of working standards.
Denise Schneider
Denise Schneider is the Operations Manager and is also responsible for accounts. Denise has five years experience in recruitment and general administration and holds a Diploma in Management. Prior to commencing at Health 24-7 Denise was employed in the Health sector for 11 years and spent time working in finance, health promotion and various administrative roles throughout Sydney hospitals.
Jessica Barlow
Jessica Barlow joined our recruitment team in 2009 and is responsible for recruitment in Surgery for both Registrars and VMOs. In addition, Jessica is also the Marketing Officer and maintains our website and associated media as well as event management and advertising. Prior to working with Health 24-7 Jessica worked in the publishing industry.
Sarah Smith
Sarah joined the Health 24-7 team in early 2010 due to our increased growth and the need to support our recruitment officers, and is now also responsible for all placements in Obstetrics & Gynaecology for Registrars and VMOs. Sarah looks after general administrative duties as well as assisting recruitment officers to ensure a quality service is provided.
Renee Geer
Renee Geer is responsible for all placements in General Practice, Emergency, Psychiatry and all Juniors. Renee joined our growing team in November 2010 and holds a Bachelor of Science (Medical Science). Prior to working with Health 24-7 Renee was employed as a Medical Scientist at the Alice Springs Hospital Department of Pathology.
